IT'S A SMALL WORLD: Songwriter Richard M. Sherman has combined his talents with Amazing Books LLC on an extraordinary advancement in children’s literature.

It really is a small world after all!! How very exciting to introduce such a terrific and original pairing in children's literary entertainment.

Amazing Books LLC, the brand new children's entertainment and literary company based in Southern California, has collaborated with Academy Award-winning composer Richard M. Sherman, co-writer of the Disney theme park anthem "It's a Small World," on an innovative line of children's entertainment products.

Los Angeles-based Amazing Books LLC launched their website, www.theamazingbooks.com, on August 19th and will release their first book, the literary classic, "The Three Little Pigs" on ITunes in early October. Amazing Books™, are based around their exclusive, interactive "Flomotion™" technology which allows the reader to control the animated action within the story. The first book will be released as a universal application available in both three-dimensional and two-dimensional versions for the IPad, IPhone and ITouch. This initial interactive pop-up book released for the mobile platform will cost $2.99.

Our Amazing Books will continue with the release of "The Three Little Pigs," with six additional titles, including, "Jack and The Bean Stalk, Goldilocks and the Three Bears" and "Little Red Riding Hood." The release of "The Night Before Christmas" will coincide with the 2010 holiday season.

Richard Sherman and his brother Robert are perhaps best known for the song, "It's a Small World," featured in the theme park ride of the same name at Disneyland, Disneyworld and other Disney properties. Together they also were awarded two Oscars for their music in the Disney feature film, "Mary Poppins," the stage version of which currently can be seen on Broadway and around the world as well. As composers and lyricists they created other songs in films including "Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Snoopy Come Home, Winnie the Pooh, The Parent Trap, The Aristocats," and "Charlotte's Web." Mr. Sherman recently added a new and original song to the soundtrack of "Iron Man 2."

"We're thrilled that a composer of Richard Sherman's caliber has brought our Amazing characters to life," said Ben Rosenberg, co-founder of Amazing Books. "His songs have stayed in the minds and hearts of generations children and adults. We're sure his memorable tunes will help our delightful books remain in your own children’s hearts and minds as well."

Mr. Sherman wrote 8 songs for the upcoming book releases and instrumental versions will be available on ITunes, free download, preceding the release of a full album of original music plus lyrics in 2011.

"When initially approached by the partners, I was intrigued by the way they approached the re-telling of these stories and the wonderfully unique characters and worlds created," Sherman said. "Pop-up books have been a favorite of mine since I was boy, and after one viewing of the product, I realized I would be part of something unique and extraordinary. How very amazing!!"
